David joined AIBMS in November 2013 from Bank of Ireland. At Bank of Ireland he held a number of senior product management roles across the Consumer Banking business. He also held the role of Head of Marketing Communications there. He joined Bank of Ireland from Aer Lingus where he was Head of Sales and Marketing, Ireland and where he was responsible for the airline’s home market and c.40% of the airlines revenues. At Aer Lingus he was part of the executive team that led the brand revitalization project. Prior to Aer Lingus David held senior marketing and sales roles at multinational FMCG company Kraft Foods, prior to which he completed a graduate training programme with Procter & Gamble. David is a graduate of University College Dublin.
David leads the Sales and Relationship functions within AIBMS and has worked within the Payments Industry for over 20 years. Throughout his career, David has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience and is widely respected across Europe. David adopts a very ‘hands-on’ approach in supporting and overseeing the Sales and Relationship functions throughout the company and is central to the strategic direction and ambitions of AIBMS.
David is a keen sportsman, an avid golfer and a proud GAA supporter.
David is an experienced professional who has worked in the payments industry for almost 15 years. As CFO at Elavon, he was heavily involved in migrating the business from Bank of Ireland and was part of the team involved in a number of Elavon acquisitions in Europe. In 2006 he joined First Data as Finance Director for their OmniPay business and has been with AIBMS as Finance Director since joining with AIB in 2008.
David is a Chartered Accountant and completed his professional training with Deloittes. He enjoys playing squash, tennis and golf at a competitive level.
Philip joined AIBMS in 2010 where he manages and leads the Client Implementation Team. He designed and implements the current Boarding Client Set-Up Guidelines for the Group. Philip has over 13 years experience in the banking and payment sectors, with Senior Operational and Management positions where he has overseen Corporate Client Boarding.
Crona joined AIBMS in 2008 with a strong track record for delivering transformational change and operational improvements across the payments, mobile, eBusiness and telecoms industries. Under her leadership, the AIBMS service offering has consistently gained recognition from customers and partners as a leader in its industry, most recently evidenced through our receipt of the MPE Award 2014 for Best European Acquirer.
Robert has more than 20 years’ experience in the payments industry. He has seen it grow into the multi-million euro industry it is today. His current role as Head of Product involves the deployment of next generation POS such as Clover™, payment gateway integrations, value added products, authorisation analysis and identification of future product requirements. Robert has previously managed all of AIBMS partner relationships including MSPs, ISOs, and PSPs.
Robert represents AIBMS at both Visa and MasterCard’s Irish Members forum. He is also part of the Card payments working Group within the National Payments Plan.
Anthony has a total of 12 years’ experience in the card payments industry across both issuing and acquiring, having started his professional career at NatWest Card Centre back in 1997. He has worked for First Data since 2005 and moved into Credit Risk a year later. He joined AIBMS in October 2009 where he has worked as an Underwriter, Senior Underwriter and, since late 2012, Credit Risk Manager.
Anthony has an Honours degree in Politics from Royal Holloway University of London. He is interested in new media, networking, and actively follows the highs and (more usually) lows, of a number of sports teams.
Rosanne leads the HR function at AIB Merchant Services. She works closely with the Senior Management team, inputting into the business strategy and delivering the HR priorities for the business. Prior to joining AIBMS in 2012, Rosanne built her HR expertise across a number of sectors in Ireland and the UK, including education, charity, facility services and financial services sectors.
Rosanne is a chartered member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and has a Masters degree in Business Studies specialising in Human Resources and Industrial Relations.
Helen joined AIBMS in 2009 where she is responsible for Regulatory and Card Scheme Compliance functions. With over 24 years in the International Banking and Credit Card sectors, including senior roles with AIB, Elavon, First Data and Ulster Bank, Helen brings a wealth of knowledge and industry expertise to her role.
