Paper fallback (terminal not working)
If for any reason your terminal is not working, you can use the fallback procedures outlined below:
Complete a sales transaction by completing an AIB Merchant Services Sales Voucher.
Complete a refund transaction by completing an AIB Merchant Services Sales Voucher and write ‘Refund’ in the description area. Make a brief note on the Voucher regarding the exchange and/or return of any items.
Never accept money from a customer in connection with processing a refund to the cardholder’s account.
